Woodson is Playing Very Well For the Packers

Charles Woodson is at the very top of his game right now. It is the age when they will start getting a little slower each year, but his instincts and mental parts of the game are at their absolute peak. He has two interceptions so far this year and returned one of them for a touchdown against Cincinnati. And although it looks so good, you will end up being very disappointing for Packer fans.

Woodson is really one of the most dominant corners in the game. He was finally able to make the Pro Bowl last year and was completely looted and the previous two years. I have absolutely no idea how he did not do that in those years, because it is making tons of plays. Interceptions and fumbles returned touchdowns. Regardless, he finally made last year, and deservedly so. He had 7 picks, 2 of them were returned for touchdowns.

Woodson was one of the reasons that we are even able to win six games we did last year. As long as he can stay healthy, I believe it will continue to play great. He is comfortable in the defensive scheme, and manages to consistently make good reads and be in the right place. Woodson is probably the most important part of our secondary, if it could stay healthy on the security will be one of the best in the league.

By the way, Anthony Smith, the certainty that the Packers definitely should not have cut, will be lining against us this weekend when the Rams play. Woodson has been the catalyst for our medium and large game in a big game. Picking it up was one of the few free agent acquisitions that Thompson has made. I must say that it is very good as well.

In the meantime, I'll try to enjoy the ride as much as I can.
