for the first time I won Sonic the Hedgehog 2 , I was ten years old. I remember because a few weeks after my best friend's tenth birthday, and he got the game as dar.Prvi time I played the game at that birthday party or maybe a little after the party died down. What a trip. Sonic on the screen moved faster than any other video game character I've ever seen. What is the most exciting part is that I actually was his control, and it was not just a video (or as you have come to known as these days: cut-scenes). I was actually making progress on a legitimate million miles per hour, which is Sonic the Hedgehog. However, fortunately, that's not all in the game is about.
There are bosses who deserves serious strategizing, and many attempts, a secret hidden in areas difficult to find places, and rings, oh so many rings. Not to mention the cute little furry creature you freed from slavery every time you kill one of the many robotic villains at every level. After beating the boss, the liberation of the hordes of those little furry animals felt like such a release at the age of ten. I do not know how the pieces fit together and why a hedgehog would destroy the doctor, but it does not matter. Sonic 2 was one of the most important games of my childhood. It has solidified my love for the game platform and introduced me to the franchise. Now 14 years later-17 years after the game came out, and I still play Sonic 2 every now and then.
