New Nintendo Wii Fitness Game Coming Soon

If you have children - or simply do not live in a cave - no doubt you've heard of Nintendo Wii video game console. Last year, the Wii has exploded on the scene of the game, crushing the opposition Sony Playstation 3.

Normally, video games are associated with a couch potato and blamed as one of the causes of our rising problem of childhood obesity. But the Wii has changed things with their innovative, action-packed technology.

Not only do they add a physical element of their system, but they have it very easy to learn and use, open its market to everyone from kids to grandparents and everyone in between.

thing that makes the Wii so different is the controller. Instead of simply pressing buttons, and do not need to move anything but his fingers, the new Nintendo controller allows you to move your whole body to influence what you see on the screen.

For example, in one of its most popular titles, Wii Sports, you swing your controller to hit the virtual tennis ball just like you would swing a real tennis racket on the court. It allows users to actual physical workout right in your living room while playing video games and entertainment.

With such a fun and innovative way to get sedentary people moving, some rooms have even begun to set up a full Wii rooms where members can play and record up to 125 calories per game.

Nintendo will take this trend one step further with their upcoming game, Wii Fit. Wii Fit will include the "Wii Balance Board" that players will sense your entire body movement, jumping, leaning, and endless other possibilities.

The game will be issued in Japan in time for Christmas, but we'll have to wait until early 2008 in the United States. This does not mean you can not get a Wii now though and enjoy Wii sports games and other titles.

After the "Wii Night" at home is a great way to spend some time family fun, and helps to make everyone healthy and fit at the same time.

Of course, with all these advantages, the Nintendo Wii is still in great demand and will only be harder to find as the holiday season progresses. So keep your eyes peeled next time you're in Wal Mart or doing some Christmas shopping, and a catch to get fit and have fun!
